Onboard the OCTOPUS Yacht
The OCTOPUS yacht is ranked number 45 among the world’s largest yachts.
In 2003 she was one of 287 yachts greater than 65' (19m) delivered by all yacht builders combined, and the 25th largest yacht built by the world-renowned superyacht builder Lürssen, based in Germany.
Motoryacht OCTOPUS has had one custom refit, in 2024. She also has no former names registered, which suggests that the yacht has been exclusively owned by her current owner for some time, or if the OCTOPUS yacht sold, the name was not changed by the owner.
Measuring in at a length of 414' 1" (126.2m) and boasting a beam of 71' 7" (21.82m), OCTOPUS's grandeur is matched only by her spaciousness. Her draft of 18' 11" (5.76m) allows for an interior volume of 9,932 GRT (gross registered tons) which contributes to her exceptional performance on the open ocean.
The styling of the OCTOPUS yacht features exterior design by Espen Øino International and interior design by Jonathan Quinn Barnett Ltd, Monk Design. Up to 26 guests can be accommodated on board the superyacht OCTOPUS in 13 staterooms. OCTOPUS also has accommodations for 45 crew members, including the yacht’s captain.
Constructed with a Steel hull, and Aluminium superstructure, she offers ample exterior and interior space.
Powered by eight MTU main engines, each generating 1,520 horsepower, for a total combined output of 12,160 horsepower. Notably, the OCTOPUS yacht is one of 4,125 yachts greater than 65’(19m) with MTU engines.
