Onboard the A+ Yacht
The A+ yacht is ranked number 10 among the world’s largest yachts.
In 2012 she was one of 316 yachts greater than 65' (19m) delivered by all yacht builders combined, and the 5th largest yacht built by the world-renowned superyacht builder Lürssen, based in Germany.
Motoryacht A+ has had no custom refits. She also has the former name registered, Topaz, which suggests that the A+ yacht sold, changing ownership one or more previous times.
Measuring in at a length of 483' 1" (147.25m) and boasting a beam of 70' 6" (21.5m), A+'s grandeur is matched only by her spaciousness. Her draft of 18' 4" (5.6m) allows for an interior volume of 12,532 GRT (gross registered tons) which contributes to her exceptional performance on the open ocean.
The styling of the A+ yacht features exterior design by Tim Heywood Design Ltd. and interior design by Terence Disdale Design. Up to 62 guests can be accommodated on board the superyacht A+ in 26 staterooms. A+ also has accommodations for 79 crew members, including the yacht’s captain.
Constructed with a Steel hull, and Aluminium superstructure, she offers ample exterior and interior space.
Powered by six Wärtsilä main engines, each generating 3,042 horsepower, for a total combined output of 18,252 horsepower. Notably, the A+ yacht is one of 15 yachts greater than 65’(19m) with Wärtsilä engines.
